REGIOSTARS - THE AWARDS FOR REGIONAL INNOVATIVE PROJECTS . THE INTEGRATION OF MIGRANTS OR MARGINALISED GRUPS IN URBAN AREAS .


RegioStars – The Awards for Regional Innovative Projects

The RegioStars Awards, as part of the Regions for Economic Change initiative, are targeted at the identification, dissemination and communication of good, innovative practices funded through the EU's Cohesion policy.. The deadline for the submission of projects is the 17th July 2009. For the 2010 Awards, we are giving prominence to the following themes: CityStar themes: 1) Innovative use of brownfield sites in an urban context. 2) The integration of migrants or marginalised groups in urban areas. ICT themes. 3) ICT applications for e-inclusion. 4) ICT applications by or for SMEs. 5) Broadband coverage in less developed regions or rural areas. Information and Communication category: 6) Websites offering quality information and showing the European added-value.
